Some thoughts on the section that I just read.

1) The terms micro level and macro level are familiar terms to me but in this article, the term meso level is used and it does represent an important aspect of music teaching and learning as we take into account institutional perspectives as well. I suppose we have been refering to it as school's needs etc but think it's quite cool to have an actual term to describe it!

2) Agree with the article that in order to influence policy, it is important for us to understand what type of policies we want to influence. Imposed, endorsed or advocated policy.

alien What are the imposed, endorsed or advocated music education policies in Singapore? And who creates them?
